2023 Co-Director of Student Engagement Reflection from Josh
My time as W4W co-director and research team lead was very rewarding. As a co-director I got the opportunity to engage with the greater teams of Wish 4 WASH and see all the amazing and impactful work that takes place. As the team lead for the new Septic Innovation sub-team, I also got the unique opportunity to work on guiding the beginnings of a project. Throughout this year, we have been able to learn a lot on the issues surrounding septic systems and found that there is a need gap present and that new designs are needed in order to address issues related to climate change and public health.
My experience in both of these roles was overwhelmingly positive and I’m excited to see what W4W accomplishes in the future! Thanks for everything you’ve done and all the help you’ve given to us though the past 3 years! — Josh
